“The Church With
The Elijah Message”
TESTIMONY OF A NEW
MEMBER,
ELDER BRANDON LEE
WILLIAMS
Dear Brothers and
Sisters in Christ,
Hello, my name is
Brandon Lee Williams. My friends all call me Preacher Man. I am 24 years old,
married, with 5 wonderful kids. I want to tell you a story, my testimony on what
brought me to Jesus, the restoration church and the Elijah Message
Church. I was raised in The Bible
Holiness Church. I met Jesus as my Saviour when I was 14 years old, but backslid
soon after the awesome experience that I had with Jesus when I met him as my
Saviour. Even with my backsliding, He has always stuck with me.
When I was almost 15
years old, I had a dream. Jesus came back and I was the only one not right about
Him. A week later, missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints came to my house. I had a strange attraction to The Book of Mormon. At
that time it led me to a lot of studying in books of religion and the Holy
Scriptures. I came to believe The Book of Mormon was the word of God, but soon
quit going to church there and studying with the missionaries. After noticing
the LDS church was in error in their doctrine. I left and started going to the
Pentecostal church in my hometown, seeking after God wherever I could. One
Sunday morning we were having an anointed Holy Spirit filled service and after
raising my hands in praise and worship in this service, I had a vision. This
vision showed that I was in an accident. Sometime before this I was pretty bad.
I stole my father′s truck and totaled it. In this vision, at the moment of impact, I
saw an angel holding me in its arms and the Lord said, “I have kept you alive for a reason.”
That was the day I was called by God to the ministry. It scared me so, I ran
from God for a while and ended up falling in love and marrying the woman I fell
in love with. I started studying under a full gospel minister in the Full Gospel
Assembly churches at the age of 16. I studied for three years. I was ordained
after 3 years of studying and after my ordination I started evangelizing all
over Southern Indiana and Illinois.
A while after I was
ordained, I lost (by death) the minister that ordained me. He put all his time
and effort into me. His name was Ricky Lynn Southwood. I was devastated. Where
do I go now? What do I do now? I started going back to the LDS Church
and the Full Gospel Assembly churches turned their backs on me and my wife, and
whole household. I found strength in The Record of the Nephites. After much
investigation and study, I knew the
LDS
Church was wrong and definitely in
error. But I had already been baptized and confirmed a member and was not
willing to leave and lose another church family, until the day I found The Voice
of Joy. My brother Daniel was getting them. I read it and contacted the church,
not knowing what to expect. Apostle Paul Savage was sent to us. He is now my
best friend and mentor when I need it. I believe he was not only sent to bless
us with the gospel, but to fill a void in my heart from my best friend that I
lost and who trained me for the ministry. Paul taught us with great love and
humility and spoke the Word of God.
After years of looking
for the truth, I had found it. I quit the LDS Church, and on that day I laid
down man′s priesthood and
was baptized, confirmed and ordained into The Holy Priesthood the next day. You′ll see God′s Church if you are really
looking for it and sincerely have a relationship with Him. He will lead you to
His flock. We are His sheep. He is our Shepard. I thank God for His death,
burial, resurrection and His Church in these latter days, The Church of Christ,
The Church with the Elijah Message.
My search, as well as
my family′s, is over. We
look not to any other gospel or church other than what Jesus Christ has led us
to.
So in closing, I bear
my testimony. First, Jesus lives. The Bible, The Record of the Nephites is the
Word of God, The Word of the Lord (the message book) is the word of God, and The Church of Christ- The
Church With the Elijah Message is His True Church established anew, in 1929.
Thank you Jesus,
Elder Brandon Lee
Williams
My TESTIMONY....
By Elder Daniel
Williams
My Journey from the
Restoration Movement into the Church of Christ,
The Church with the Elijah Message was a long, yet a rewarding road. I was
raised to believe in God and the Bible. But there was always something missing
from mainstreams churches, but I could never put my finger on just what it was.
Then after much searching I was Given a Record of the Nephites (Book of Mormon)
by my Brother Brandon. I read the Record of the Nephites for the First time. Its
words testified that Jesus is the Christ, even the Eternal Father, that God had
a Plan for my life, that God loved me, and had prepared a way that I may come to
live with Him some day. Oh, how I knew this book must be of God. I read in
Moroni 10:3-5
That if I would ask the God the Eternal Father in the name of Christ having real
faith, he would manifest the truth of it unto me by the Holy Ghost. I prayed to
my Heavenly Father asking him if this book was true, the Holy Spirit made
manifest that it was true, as I rose from my knees, in my heart I hard these
words:
The morning breaks, all
shadows flee, behold the Rays of Truth Divine.
The experience was
powerful and beyond any words I can ever write. I had come to know for myself
that The Record of the Nephites was everything and more then what it says it
was. Once I knew in my heart that the Record of the Nephites was true, I never
turned back.
I joined with one of
the many churches of the Restoration, feeling that if they believed in the Book
of Mormon, they must have the truth. Yet in my spirit there still was a longing
for something more. I read the scriptures and prayed, but after much heartache I
left the church I belonged to feeling there had to be more then this. For some
time I went to a church with my sister. It was my sister who lead me to accept
Christ as my Lord and Savior. However with all this going on, I could not deny
my testimony of The Record of the Nephites, I know this book is true, it was a
Gift from The LORD. I did not know what road to take, or what church to join,
which had the truth. This was a time in my life that I was given to much prayer
and fasting, seeking that the Lord would lead me to His Church, not just another
man made church.
I starting seeking out more information about other Restoration
churches, The Lord led me to The Church of Christ′s web site, and after some time I ask that The
Voice of Joy be sent to my home. I ate it up; there was much truth within its
pages. Yet I received The Voice of Joy for about a year before I ever requested
more information about The Church of Christ. I had given my copies of The Voice
of Joy to my brother, who read them and loved the truth within the pages. He
then called the Church, soon after, Apostle Paul Savage was sent to teach us the
Elijah Message. To tell you the truth, I did not think much about Paul Savage
coming to visit my family and me. I felt that it would be like all the other
churches of the Restoration. But the minute I saw Paul in person I knew I had to
join The Church of Christ. Just as the Lord promised, the Holy Ghost did bear
testimony to me of the truthfulness of the Elijah Message and I was baptized and
confirmed as a member of The Church of Christ. That day was truly the most
blessed day of my life. I am so glad that the Lord has led me to His Church.
Each day the Lord leads and guides me, the more I learn about Him and his
Church, the deeper my relationship with Christ grows. I would also like to add
that′s why I love the Holy Bible (it truly is the Word
of God), The Record of the Nephites, truly is the most Holy Ghost filled, Christ
Centered books I have ever had the joy to read. The Bible and The Record of
Nephites truly go hand in hand. You cannot truly believe in one without the
other. We also must come to understand that “The Word
of the Lord, Brought to Mankind by an Angel” with it
has the Authority behind them both. My Dear Brothers and Sisters of Christ, let
us always remember all three of our Holy books, understand they have been
inspired of God and are the standard of truth for our day.

TESTIMONY OF
A BOOK OF MORMON
BELIEVER
A long time ago I was
disabled. So with a lot of time on my hands, and nothing to do, I went looking
for the Lord. “Amen” to those Baptists, because they got me going, but upon further
study I found they were not the Lord′s church.
Then one day some
people came to my house from a Restoration church and gave me a Book of Mormon,
which I read and found to be the Master′s voice.
So I attended their
church and found they did not do everything by the word of God, just like the
Baptist. But “Amen”, or in other words, thanks to those Restoration people for
giving me a Book of Mormon.
Upon reading the Book
of Mormon, I found that it filled in the voids I could not find in my Bible. So
it helped me grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. Thank you very much Lord!
Then a guy that I just
met showed me The Record of the Nephites and The Word of the Lord, Brought to
Mankind by an Angel. He gave me Brother Paul Savage′s name and phone number.
Scriptures says, “Seek and ye shall find, knock and it
shall be opened unto.” I had been looking since 1981
and I finally found The Church of Christ, The Church With the Elijah Message in
2005 through Apostle Paul Savage. He′s the first
Apostle Paul I ever met, besides the Apostle Paul in the Bible.
Brother Savage came to
wonderful Port Huron, Michigan and baptized me in Lake Huron,
and I became a member of The Church of Christ.
Now I witness to
whoever wants to pay attention to what the Lord has to say. I′m going to do what I can to help the Church grow.
Message 98:15 “The need is great that I speak on
this. Many have asked that the Lord speak His will and declare what must be for
the good of the Church, the Kingdom of God
on Earth. Let it grow, let it move forward.”
May the grace of our
Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

MY TESTIMONIAL
Many years back, my
family and I spent the day after Christmas at the home of close friends. The get
together plan was for Christmas Day, but Johnny (my friend) being a flight
engineer had to unexpectedly stay over in
Salt Lake City, Utah.
There was much discussion about his stay over there, which included his sharing
the story of the Book of Mormon (The Record of the Nephites) and it′s history. The stories fascinated me, especially
on how the book came about. My search for a copy of the book led to membership
in the LDS church, as the book proved to my heart to be true.
After belonging to
three of the largest restoration churches, I was continually bothered by the
fact that all had strayed from the precepts of The Church of Christ as
re-established in 1829. It was hard to accept that, in my mind, the restoration
movement finally came to naught.
While I was attending
an eastern orthodox church, a friend sent me The David Whitmer Address To All
Believers In Christ. This put me on a trail that led to the knowledge of The
Messenger. I had much correspondence with folks on the net about this subject. I
felt I was getting the most real and honest answers from Apostle Paul Savage,
from The Church of Christ “The Church With The Elijah Message&rdquo We
met. My questions both positive and negative were answered with candor and
without hesitation. A reality is that God′s work will
always come into question where man is involved. It never fails that each of us
will demonstrate from time to time our ability to fail. In spite of this I came
to one conclusion. THIS APPEARS TO BE GOD′S WORK. I
asked to be baptized into this work and as of late I feel the urgency to do what
I can to bring the Messages to others and especially to bring my life into
greater conformity with the Gospel of Christ.
